Improve your international relations
So, you have a headache and zero energy to play in that tennis competition. Despite your reputation within the organization, you want to cancel it. Or do you think it's better to just show up for the game, even though you're not up for it? There's a pretty good chance that your answer to this question depends on the culture you come from. One culture is quite simply more sensitive to loss of face than the other.
This training is about the difference between so-called face-sensitive cultures and truth-sensitive cultures. You'll get an answer to the question: "How can I make sure that these cultural differences don't get in the way when I come into contact with people from other cultures?" When working with people from other cultures, it can be important to understand how truth and face relate to each other. What should you say... and what should you keep to yourself? This is what you'll learn in this training course.
